The Transformational Trainer & Design Exceptional Training Programs

Regardless of subject matter expertise, the role of the trainer is to enhance the performance of those attending their training. The Transformational Trainer is an instructor enhancement program designed to help you focus on the “how to train” rather than just “what to train”. This program is designed challenge instructors to think differently about law enforcement training in an effort to improve performance in the field.

This course is founded upon empirical research that provides trainers with tools and
strategies intended to achieve the most desirable outcomes after training has been
provided. This course was designed by law enforcement trainers, for law enforcement
trainers. This course recognizes that effective training goes far beyond PowerPoints.
Instead, the course focuses on research-proven findings on human learning so that
training can be delivered in a manner most likely to provide the desired results.

This highly interactive, small group discussion-based training is focused on identifying
the characteristics of transformational trainers, the truths regarding human learning, and human performance factors that affect performance. Furthermore, generational
differences are explored through the lens of a trainer, the use of storytelling as a training tool, and how the use of a student-centered feedback model can significantly improve performance are also covered.
